This is a stock OEM grab rail / grab bar, grabrail, buddy strap for a 1980 - 1981 Suzuki GS750L ( GS750LT & GS750LX ) motorcycle. This chrome metal bar sits behind the back of the seat and provides a place for a passenger to grab on to, as well as a place to strap bungee nets and other cargo to. It is in good condition with some rust on the surface chrome, and some slightly heavier surface rust in the corners where the grab rail is welded on to the mounting bracket. All of this rust is removable without too much work, and then you can paint it, re-chrome it, or use it as it is. See pictures for details and close-ups.
