This is a gas / fuel / petrol tank for a 1979 Kawasaki KZ650-D2 SR / KZ650-SR motorcycle. We know this tank will fit the 79 KZ650-D2, and also the KZ650-D1 / KZ650-D1A SR motorcycles. The tank has been repainted, but the tank is in overall very good condition. It still has the emblems on it.There are a few small dings on the exterior of the tank also, but the interior has very little rust or fuel lacquer and can easily be cleaned to be perfect. There is some rattle in the tank like it's rusty but no rust can be seen from the openings. Overall this tank would not take much work to make it nearly perfect, great for a daily rider or maybe even for a restoration or custom bike!
