This is an igniter / ignition unit / CDI unit / black box / ignitor/ computer /ignition spark box for a; Yamaha XJ550 / XJ 550 Maxim / XJ550R / XJ 550R / XJ 550 R Seca 1981-1983. The front label on the igniter reads; TID14-05 4U8-10 It is in physically excellent condition, with no damage or wear in evidence. The harness connector is great, there is no rust, broken plastic, or weather wear visible. These Ignitor boxes are extremely expensive new from the dealer. Unfortunately we are not able to test this part, and it is sold as-is.Since it came from a running crashed motorcycle and has been stored indoors since we received it, we have no reason to believe that it won�t work great once reinstalled on a motorcycle.
